Rushes from filming the games corner
When first filming the games corner we noticed some faults with filming that could be improved to make the footage look a lot better and more professional. We set up 3 different cameras one for the full set, one for one presenter and one for the other. But when we went to editing we noticed that it doesnt work well at all because the presenters never looked at the individual camera pointing at them, which ended up not how we wanted it. Another improvement that we could have made is the fact that the camera is not at eye level which it should be. This is because we want it to seem as personal as possible when the presenters are talking but it is actually more of a high angle shot. Even though this was the refilm for episode 1 there is still improvements that can be made or ideas to take onto episode 2
When watching this footage back after experiementing with the lighting and settings on the camera we noticed that it came out a lot worse than we wanted it to. For example everything looks very orange and doesnt look very proffesstional at all. In my opinion it looks amatuer and I wanted to improve it, looking at the refilm we did above it looks a lot better and more proffestional. also putting the TV on in the background to show the logo was a bad idea because you can not actually tell what is on the screen and the glare of the screen makes (presenter) Vivky's hair look green. Looking at the refilm above you can see that the TV is off, this is because we edited the logo onto the screen in post production.
