LO1: Legal And Ethical
Legal
During the show, we are able to play different games and have game footage on the screens and show when talking about games or reviewing them etc. This is because it is for a promotional purpose which advertises the games in a positive way and sticks to the laws of trade mark and copyright, giving full ownership and recognition to the owners, producers and developers.
The logo that we have produced for the show is completely original, nothing has been taken or copied by other logos or business, the most would be taking inspiration from other designs. Also the the small introduction with the logo all sounds and effects have either been made by us or have been downloaded from a legal free sound sites or creative commons.
Copyright is a legal right created by the law of a country, that grants the creator of an original work exclusive rights to its use and distribution, usually for a limited time, with the intention of enabling the creator to receive compensation for their intellectual effort.
In our show we respected the law of copyright and did not take anything from anyone else's work, for example everything that has been copyrighted, like peoples music or designs or logos etc, we have stuck to a unique design in the show and have not broken the copy right law. Again we are also aloud to use gaming footage on our show due to it being for promotional purposes and nothing else.
Slander is the action or crime of making a false spoken statement damaging to a person's reputation. In the production and the recording of the show there was nothing in the content that would offend or damage someones reputation, everything done was respectful of the owners and producers and developers of the game and nothing was spoken badly.
Watershed is the law that states the timing of when things are shown, for example the producers will look into the content of the show and decide whether it is suitable for the time that it wants to be aired. looking at our show, we have checked all contents for episodes to make sure that the content is suitable for the viewers at the time that it goes live.
Ethical
Religion - When making the show we needed to take into account the content of it and make sure that it doesn't offend anyone religion is one of the things we have to look into as an ethical issue for example we can not make one religion seem better than the other or offend a single religion or make it out that the views are wrong.
gender - The same rule applies to the gender section of our viewers for example we can not favour towards either gender for example promote one genders ideas more than the others or speak badly or stereotypical of a certain gender. We also must not offend or make one gender look weaker than the other.
sexuality - During the production of the show we made sure that in no parts of the script or show there is anything that could be seen as sexist or offensive towards either gender. None of the content on the show favored either gender or is aimed at a specific gender.
language - When writing the script no inappropriate language is featured on it and also in post production when editing the show we made sure that none of the footage or audio involves any inappropriate language or gestures.

LO1: Budget
There is no allocated budget for this TV programme as it is by an independent company which rely on public funding and sponsorship. The show has been sponsored by Lime Pro Gamers who have gave us a poster to display on the programme however have put no money behind the programme meaning that the programme will be sharing awareness for their company. It will also make the show look more professional by having a sponsor.

Also take into consideration for Hot food and drink if it was knocked over and it burns anyone on the studio. also be careful for anything that could harm people in the studio for example anything that could fall or anything sharp.
Legal and Ethical Considerations
Whilst producing the show we need to consider ethical issue was designing things such as set, or logo or costume or music etc. This is because you can not produce anything offensive towards the veiwers such as religion or gender or sexuality.

LO1: Master Chef Analysis
Content - looking at the content of this show you can see that it is aimed at an older target audience, this is because it includes it includes things that adults would find interesting for example different recipes and foods. The content of this show makes it seem more interesting because it has different sections to the show. For example the introduction to the show makes it seem very professional abut quite dramatic which I think makes the audience for interesting.
Structure - The structure of this show gives it a much better finish to it. The start of the show with the introduction explains what will be on the show and then it goes onto seeing the different chefs in kitchen situations working for different things then onto a competition section of the show and finally with a review of what they have cooked. This is to give the show a professional theme and make it interesting to the audience, it is also to target specific people for example some people might favor the competition part but other might prefer the part in the real kitchens.
Presenters and MES - Looking at the presenters and the mise en Scene of the show you can see that the show is meant for adults, Looking at target demographics there is nothing that points out it is aimed at the higher end of working people. The clothes that the presenters and chefs are just everyday clothes and not suits or anything smart or high class. Looking at the props and the settings of the show you can see that it is a serious professional competition and not messing around. The smart restaurant and the modern room with the sides in connote that the chefs are very good at what they are doing and not just amateurs.
Camerawork - Looking at the camera work in this show you can see that detail is important, I know this because of the amount of close up shots that are used on different things. For example everything that is going on with the cooking, cutting, slicing and cooking. But there are also close up shots on the chefs faces when interviewing them on how they did, I think that it just so we can see how they are or how they feel about their final meals.
use of effects and titles - I like the use of titles on the show because I think that it gives it a professional look. They aren't that many titles in this show but the small ones used to give information make it seem better. There are also not that much effects in this show as well, I think that this show has a different style to the other ones that I have analysed because this one seems to be more like a documentary following the chefs through the different scenarios but the other ones are more of what they have chosen to do instead of what they have been given to do.
LO1: Blue Peter Analysis
Content - The content of the show has different sections to be entertaining for different types of audiences. For example there is one part of the show where the presenters are talking about different apps and reviewing them, this could be for the younger part of the audience or the part of the audience that are interested in different games. There is also other things that are in the show such as one of the presenters going to V festival after it has happened to see how the staff handle everything, this could be for any part of the audience for example some adults might be interested in how they handle all the mess after the festival. As well as the people that have gone to the festivals and want to look for themselves.
Structure - The structure of the show follows the style of a magazine, having different sections as the show goes on. For example at the start of the show the presenters introduce the show and the contents of the show which is acting as a contents page on a magazine. And from then different sections on different things are on to entertain all types of audience on the show.
Presenters and MES - Looking at the presenters and the mise en scene of the show I think that it is supposed to be relaxed and informal, for example looking at the costume of the presenters they are wearing normal clothes like jeans and plain tops or T shirts. But if we are watching the news then we would see the presenters wearing suits or other formal clothes such as shirt and tie.
Camerawork - looking at the camera work on the show again you can see that it is has a relaxed and informal theme. This is because all the camera shots are either a two shot or a simple mid shot. There are no shots that can connote any dramatic effect such as a extreme close up or any high or low angle shots, which tells me that it is trying to seem not fictional and relaxed but professional.
Use of effects and titles - The title and effect at the start when introducing the blue peter title makes the show look very professional as well as giving it brand recognition. everyone that will watch this show will remember the logo at the start when the show is introduced, which in the end can give the show a wider target audience and make it look a lot more professional.
LO1: Top Gear Analysis
Content - The content of the show contains different sections to the show for example, adventures, reviews and a celebrity guest challenge. The different sections to the show are to interest different people and have a bigger audience. For example not everyone is interested in just car reviews others watch top gear for the adventure and fun. Whilst others watch it too see well known celebrities messing around and racing.
Structure - the structure of the show starts with something related to the viewers for example something to do with traffic or insurance etc. It then goes on to the news where the 3 presenters sit together and discuss new car releases and news on the motor world. Then cut back to the adventure or story of the show and then onto the star in a reasonably priced car then back to the story until the end.
Presenters and MES - Jeremy Clarkson, James May, Richard Hammond, the costume of the 3 presenters in the show are dressed similar to the audience, which would be mostly men from 20 to 60, this is good because if they look like the audience then it gives a friendly vibe to the show and not just talking to some presenter in a suit with no personality.
Camerawork - The camera work in the show is different depending on the content. for example if it is the presenters it will be a median close up shot from the shoulders to just above the head this is to give all the viewer attention to the presenter talking, the camera will switch between one and the other in a conversation to give the presenter all the attention when speaking.
Use of effects and titles - The title sequence at the start of the show gets the viewers attention straight away and tells the audience what the show is about. The sound in the title sequence causes branding recognition for the show. when the small tune os played it will be remembered in the viewers head and the audience will know what it means every time they hear it.
